ADIOS UBUNTU, ADIOS

Me voy de UBUNTU, sí, no es broma....

Esta entrada sirva para informar de mi paso de ubuntu a Archlinux, los motivos son varios pero el más significativo, el que colmó el vaso, fue que me molestó enormemente la frase del señor Mark Shuttleworth, que en un acto de soberbia, espetó:

"This is not a democracy. Good feedback, good data, are welcome. But we are not voting on design decisions".

(Esto no es una democracia. Los aportes y datos son bienvenidos. Pero no votamos sobre decisiones del diseño)

Todo ello vino a raiz de las muchas críticas que tuvo Ubuntu 10.04 por la colocación del los botones de las ventanas a la izquierda, tipo Mac.

Bien que quede claro, que a mí los botones a la izquierda me gustan, porque me gusta tenerlos donde ideológicamente me ubico. Por eso mismo, por mi ubicación ideológica, no acepto dictaduras y menos aún soberbias de personas que por la responsabilidad que tienen deberían de tener más cuidado con sus palabras. Cuidado y respeto, ... porque discúlpeme SR Mark, pero "SU" Distribución Linux es y está donde está gracias, en parte, a la colaboración desinteresada de personas que invierten su tiempo en mejorarla, traducirla y aportar datos por y para beneficio de todos...

Fíjese, que estoy de acuerdo en que cada decisión no puede ser acordada de forma democrática, pero también estoy de acuerdo que las cosas se pueden decir de muchas maneras sin ofender a nadie...

¿Qué le habría costado decir que a pesar de querer agradar a todo el mundo eso es imposible y que la colocación de los botones de la ventana responde a una actuación estratégica de diferenciarlo de windows y competir con MAC....? sin tener que decir que esto no es una democracia menospreciando los aportes de la comunidad, y limitándolos a lo que a Ud le interesa, es decir bugs, traducciones y programas...

Bien, ya me cabreé cuando metió como editor de video predeterminado a PITIVI, que a mi parecer está más verde que un olivo en abril, en lugar de OPENSHOT, pero entiendo que no puede estar todo al gusto de uno.. pero SR. Mark, no me bacile, no se crea Dios, porque no lo es, y no deshonre el lema de la distribución: 'I am what I am because of who we all are' ("Yo soy lo que soy debido a lo que todos somos"), y lo cambie a: "We are all so am I (Mark)" ("Somos todos por lo que soy yo" (Mark)).
